I'm finally following up with some finished photos of my house. Still have to get the yard and landscaping installed, but I am settled in for now.
Building my own home was a great experience. Being able to design exactly what I wanted and still having the ability to change things on the fly were very important. Through using my own subcontractors, as well as many on the OBN preferred list, I was able to get what I really wanted instead of having to compromise for price. The team at OBN is a great support group to have on your side when taking on the construction of your biggest investment.

Thank you! Our master bathroom is my favorite room in the house...you know how the chandelier was a big deal for me. Prentiss can choose one thing, he loves the entire house, but if I choose for him, I'd say he loves the shower.
The extras we added through the process was decorative tiles aroud the fireplace and putting granite in all the bathrooms. I also added a built in dresser in my closet…with granite.
I know we got a lot more for our money by buying our own materials and researching prices. I even played some companies against each other to get us the best deals. It also worked on the contractors.
So far, I think everyone who sees the house thinks we spent a milion dollars and they are afraid to take the leap themselves. I think they believe this because of all the things we put in the house, however, we got all this by shopping discounts and working deals and managing our own project. My cousin and his wife are extremely interested in your program. I think they may already be working with Chuck.
If you need us to speak/email any potential customers, we would be glad to. We couldn't have done any of this without you guys!
Also, if you want to come out and take pictures, you know I'm like a proud mama over here, so come on by! Our dome and barrel ceilings are FABULOUS!!!

We built our home through Owner/Builder network. Our house was finished 12/9/2016. Through the hole process we had only a couple
of issues with contractors. OBN didn't hesitate to help out with those issues. We even had an issue 6 months later and again OBN
didn't hesitate to help out with the issue. The staff at OBN is very friendly and professional. We plan on this being our last
house, but if we were to build again, I would use OBN.

My wife and I built a house through on owner builder network. We were very happy with the process and the people who worked with
us. We built our house in 2009 and still reside in it. We thoroughly enjoy our house. With the exception of one contractor the
process went very well. That contractor is no longer on their list of approved contractors. We would not hesitate to use them
again and there's a strong chance that we will. I recommend using owner builder network. The house we built was significantly
cheaper and of much better quality than any of the home builder houses built today.
We recently had the opportunity to visit with Adam & Sandy Scott at their new home they built in Sanger, TX. Adam is a firefighter and Sandy is a nurse and they have a baby to boot! So if you are considering building a home, take the plunge! You can’t have a busier schedule than the Scott Family!

I can't rave enough about the quality of workmanship from your subcontractors. This building is the best built structure in Keller as far as energy efficiency and quality. I added wind straps to the joists and it only added about $400 to the overall cost, I loved having that kind of project control. Thanks again for all your help...
